On January 10, 2025 (Friday), UiTM Sabah Branch hosted the Meeting and Introduction Session of the Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB).

The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Rozita @ Uji Mohammed, Rector of UiTM Sabah Branch, Professor Dr. Shahrulrazid Bin Sarbini, Founding Chairman of KUUB and Director of Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus, as well as Professor Dr. Mohammad Saffree Jeffree, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Strategic) of Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Also present were delegates from UiTM Sabah Branch, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, and members of the Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo. The meeting aimed to introduce KUUB to UiTM and UMS while strengthening strategic collaboration among higher education institutions in Borneo to drive academic and research excellence.
