The Sulam program, held from 24th to 25th October 2024, at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tatau, Bintulu, aims to help students apply their knowledge of technology and media to the community, particularly to secondary school students. This program plays a role in empowering skills in Industry 4.0 and raising awareness of the latest technological developments, contributing to national progress and the development of a more robust and competitive community.

 

The program has a significant impact on the Form 3 students of SMK Tatau, providing them with exposure through talks and mini-games about technology such as “What Can We Do with Technology,” “Digital Storytelling,” “Digital Art Creators,” and “Real World Computer Game.”

 

Additionally, the program was graced by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Management and Science, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wong Tze Jin, along with the Principal of SMK Tatau, Dr. Layang Anak Ugek, and the Assistant Principal 1, Encik Nyanggau Anak Binal, who officiated the closing ceremony of the Sulam @YouthGen event.

 

Lastly, we, the Diploma in Computer Science Semester 4 students of the Academic Session 2024/2025, would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our Advisor, Dr. Nurul Nadwa Binti Zulkifli, for her invaluable guidance and support. We also express our sincere gratitude to the Program Mentors, the dedicated teachers, and the enthusiastic students of SMK Tatau for their unwavering commitment and cooperation throughout the Sulam @YouthGen program.
