BINTULU, August 30 – The KUUB Young Leaders Workshop on Internationalisation and English Communication brought together 60 student leaders in a hybrid format at TEGAS Digital Hub, with participants also joining online from universities across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Brunei under the Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB).
Led by Tuan Haji Fakhzan Haji Buang, Deputy Chairman of YLE and Secretary General of KUUB, the workshop highlighted the importance of internationalisation and strong communication skills in shaping globally competitive youth leaders.
Project Leader Nadzirah said the programme helps students kickstart internationalisation projects while adding valuable skills to their resumes. YLE facilitator Hafidz Daniel also announced a follow-up series focusing on pitching and proposal workshops.
Organised by Youth, Leadership and Entrepreneurship (YLE) - a smart partnership between Universiti Putra Malaysia Sarawak (UPMS) & TEGAS, in collaboration with the Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB) and the Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence, Universiti Putra Malaysia Sarawak (CALC@UPMS), the event inspired participants to push their limits, build networks, and embrace global opportunities.
