Bintulu, 27 August 2024 - The facilities of wooden beds and used mattresses in the residential block of Sri Rajang College, Universiti Putra Malaysia Bintulu Sarawak Campus (UPMKB) have been donated to one of the rural schools in Kuala Tatau Bintulu, namely Sekolah Kebangsaan Kuala Tatau Bintulu.

 

A total of 20 units of beds and 20 units of mattresses were handed over to Mr. Zulfaddly Bin Ahmad as the Headmaster by the Principal of Sri Rajang College, YM Dr. Tengku Sh. Marliza Tengku Azmi on 27 August 2024 at the residential block of Sri Rajang College.

 

The CSR contribution activity of Sri Rajang College has become a routine before, where donations have been given to several dilapidated and critical schools around Bintulu, including donations to several longhouses that have burned down and need bed and mattress facilities.

 

UPM hopes that this donation can provide comfort to the students at the school. Also present were Mrs. Rosidah Basir, Senior Assistant Registrar of Sri Rajang College, UPMKB and Chief Fellow of Sri Rajang College Mr. Abdul Rahim Bin Habib and several teachers from the school.
