KUUB is delighted to share an exciting piece of news!

 

A significant milestone was achieved on 1 August 2024 at the Pullman Miri Waterfront Hotel during the 9th BIMP-EAGA SCE Cluster Meeting 2024. The Joint Declaration of Intent between Konsortium Universiti Universitas Borneo (KUUB) and the Philippine-EAGA Higher Education Institutions Consortium (PEHEIC) was successfully formalized.

 

Prof. Dr. Shahrul Razid bin Sarbini, Founding Chairman of KUUB, and Dr. Hanlie Taha, Interim National Coordinator of PEHEIC, spearheaded this notable event. It represents a major collaboration among Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, and the Philippines, aimed at advancing higher education across the region.

 

We are also pleased to announce that this newly formed collaboration means KUUB has now officially established a Joint Declaration of Intent with both PEHEIC and the Consortium of Eastern Indonesia State Universities (CEISU). These strategic partnerships align perfectly with KUUB’s vision of fostering regional educational collaboration and excellence across Southeast Asia.
