Bintulu, 25 August 2024 - Semarak Jiwa Merdeka 2024 Program organized by the Secretariat of Spirituality & Unity was held at Dewan Sri Kenyalang from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. The program aims to celebrate the spirit of independence through various cultural events and competitions.

The ceremony began with a welcome speech from Mrs. Rosidah Binti Basir, Senior Assistant Registrar of Sri Rajang College, who gave words of encouragement and underlined the importance of patriotic spirit in fostering national identity. The program includes a cultural dance competition, followed by a patriotic song singing competition that can be participated in solo, duo, or trio. In addition, independence choir competitions and hakka competitions were also held, showcasing the greatest talents in various categories.

PThe program was also graced by the presence of guests of honour including Mrs. Rosidah Binti Basir (Senior Assistant Registrar of Sri Rajang College), Fellow of Sri Rajang College, and invited judges who evaluated and gave appreciation to the participants.

The closing of the program ended symbolically, followed by the singing of patriotic songs full of passion. Semarak Jiwa Merdeka 2024 program can foster patriotic spirit and preserve cultural heritage among participants and visitors.
